What are we up to

It's Monday and boy do we have a lot planned for this week. I have my usual house keeping things to do and the kid's have their chores but other than that every one is starting something new this week.

-My oldest is starting a new chapter in Math U See. He is now moving on to his -8 subtraction facts. He is almost done with his handwriting workbook and he is completely done with his book #6 in the Progressive Readers. This week he will review Ending Blend words and prepare to move on to book #8. He is really excited about the progress that he has been doing.

-My middle child (our Kindergartner) is also progressing. This week she will be introduced to subtractions. She will be starting on her lower case letters in her handwriting workbook and in progressive readers she is starting book #4 this week. (short vowel o words).

_ Our baby is also on the move. Since mastering the potty last week she is now wanting to learn her colors and shapes. She bring us a Lego and ask "what Color mommy". She is so cute!

We are still working on our Healthy Teeth study. This week we are learning about proper brushing techniques as well as making a visit to the dentist office for a check up.
We are also starting seeds this week for our vegetable garden. So far we are planning on tomatoes, collards, lettuces, carrots, squashes, and herbs.

We will be very busy this week. I am working on posting pictures of some of our past lapbooks from the fall semester. Keep checking back I'll try to update soon.
